親愛的天父：

    Grant me the power to face up to the best that you have given me, to find my

talents, to
develop them and to employ them that they may do the most in Thy service.

    開啟我雙眼，使我對你創造的榮美感到驚訝，宇宙的神奇在我心中有所感應。

    Open my eyes that I may marvel at the beauty of Thy creation, that the wonde

s of Thy
 universe may find responsiveness in me.
    願我對世界各地的學生都能欣賞，超越膚色、種族與信念，視為一體。

    May I have appreciation of all students everywhere, a oneness with them surm
o
unting color,
 race, or creed.
    讓我為生在一個青年就可以擁有自由的歲月感恩，也為只要我肯就能接受教育感
謝主，因父母願意犧牲，使我能成長、學習，師長也願與我分享他們的知識，即使工
作很難，讓我有勇氣來迎接挑戰。

    Give me gratitude for living in a land where youth may have these years of
freedom, where education is mine just for the taking, for parents willing to
sacrifice that I may grow and learn, for teachers that would share with me
their knowledge, where work proves difficult, give me courage to rise to the
challenge of it.
                                        讓我感覺你就在近處，給我需要的額外力量，使我能完成學業。當我翻過人生之
書的這一章，看到前面更寬廣的領域時，但願我能心有所感，一種一件事做得很好的
成就感與滿足感，知道在這些成長的歲月中沒有使你失望。

    Let me sense Thy nearness standing ready to supply me with the extra power
I need to see it to completion.  And as I close this chapter of my life and
look ahead to wider horizons, may I be able to do so with a feeling of
accomplishment, a sense of satisfaction for a job well done, in knowing that
I have not failed Thee in these growing years.
