由於裕方問到關於"獨居"的問題,
NIV的翻譯和CU的翻法, 似乎意思不太一樣,
所以我查了一下不同的版本

1. CU 我對他說、你當多日為我獨居、不可行淫、
      不可歸別人為妻、我向你也必這樣。
2. NIV You are to live with me many days;
       you must not be a prostitute or be intimate
       with any man, and I will live with you
       *live with亦可翻為wait for
3. KJV And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days;
       thou shalt not play the harlot,
       and thou shalt not be for another man:
       so will I also be for thee.
4. BBE And I said to her, You are to be mine for
       a long space of time; you are not to be false to me,
       and no other man is to have you for his wife;
       and so will I be to you.
5. WEB I said to her, "You shall stay with me many days.
       You shall not play the prostitute,
       and you shall not be with any other man.
       I will also be so toward you."
6. NET Then I told her, "You must live with me many days;
       you must not commit adultery or have sexual intercourse
       with another man, and I also will wait for you."
7. TCVRE 我叫她不要再當妓女，跟我住在一起；但是這段時間
         我不跟她同房。

看完了這些英文翻譯，我覺得大同小異。
沒有獨居的意思在內，全都是說要和何西阿一起住。
只有和合本提到獨居，現代中文譯本的翻法是，兩人同住，
但沒有發生性關係。

串珠聖經把獨居和申命記21:13連在一起，
但如果從11看到13，會較容易了解。

若在被擄的人中見有美貌的女子，戀慕他，要娶他為妻，
就可以領他到你家裡去；他便要剃頭髮，修指甲，
脫去被擄時所穿的衣服，住在你家裡哀哭父母一個整月，
然後可以與他同房。你作他的丈夫，他作你的妻子。

所以，何西阿書所提到的獨居，應是指兩人同住，
但沒有發生性關係。

所以，結論是，當時的中文可能和我們現在使用的中文不同，
以致於我們的理解也跟著不同。
